From the youtube performances (Philip Sear, see below): The forgotten Canadian composer (Cedric) Wilmot Lamont (1879-1954) was born in New Brunswick, and began his musical studies locally, but completed them in the USA at the New England Conservatory in Boston. He pursued a career as organist and choirmaster in the US and Canada, and composer of a lot of church and teaching music. His Dream Pictures were published in 1914, and WW1 seems very distant from the carefree mood conveyed.
