It was produced as part of an applied statistics course, given at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute in the summer of 2010. The principle aim is to provide a step-by-step guide on the use of R commander to carry out exploratory data analysis and the subsequent application of statistical analysis to answer questions widely asked in the life sciences. These notes (version 1.1) were written with Rcommander version1.4-10 under a Window’s operating system.
