Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, 2016. — 456 p. — (De Septuaginta Investigationes (DSI) 5).At the end of the 11th century the ancient Hexateuch Ms. Ambrosianus A 147 inf. underwent a general restoration: the original majuscule writing was retraced throughout, some lost sheets were replaced, and a great number of variant readings were added, being sometimes preferred to the original text. The purpose of the restoration appears to have been a revision of the Septuagint text in order to make it conform to the Masoretic. Mariachiara Fincati provides a complete analysis of each individual modification by comparing each of them with extant Christian and Jewish Greek translations of the biblical text.
