St. Petersburg: Tabiti.
Lourié (14. Mai 1892 St. Petersburg – †12. Oktober 1966 Princeton (N.J.)) was a significant Russian composer. Lourié played an important role in the earliest stages of the organization of Soviet music after the 1917 Revolution but later went into exile. His music reflects his close connections with the contemporary poets and artists of the Russian Silver Age, and also his close relationship with Igor Stravinsky.
