Wien: L. Doblinger Verlag, 1960. — 11 p.Erwin Christian Scholz studied at the State Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. From 1932 he was the director of the Bocklett Piano School there. From 1934 to 1939 he worked as a lecturer in music theory at the Urania and as a music teacher at the Realgymnasium Vienna. From 1946 he was the director of the piano class at the Horak Conservatory and a music teacher at the Federal Teacher Training Institute in Vienna, and from 1954 he was a piano teacher at the Music Academy. In 1956 he was appointed professor there. In 1977 he became emeritus there. Erwin Christian Scholz composed works for piano, chamber music, numerous songs, choral and orchestral works. He acted as editor of older musical works.
